Oregon State LB Bright Ugwoegbu Entering Supplemental Draft

Rob Rang of NFL Draft Scout reports that Oregon State LB Bright Ugwoegbu is entering the 2019 Supplemental Draft.

Ugwoegbu becomes the fourth prospect to enter this year’s Supplemental Draft, which will be held on July 11. He joins a draft pool that consists of Western Michigan CB Sam Beal, Mississippi State DB Brandon Bryant and Virginia Tech CB Adonis Alexander.

According to reports, Ugwoegbu has been suspended indefinitely by new Oregon State HC Jonathan Smith for an undisclosed violation.

The expectation is that a Beal and Alexander could both be the first players selected in a Supplemental Draft since the Rams selected OT Isaiah Battle back in 2015.

During his three-year college career at Oregon State, Ugwoegbu recorded 126 tackles, 17.5 tackles for a loss, eight sacks, a forced fumble, three recoveries and four pass defenses over the course of 27 games.
