The Green Bay Packers announced Monday that they’ve claimed Sย Ibraheim Campbell off of waivers from the Jets and waived P Drew Kaser.
Campbell, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Browns back in 2015. He was in the third year of his four-year, $2,792,008 contract and set to make a base salary of $615,000 when Cleveland decided to waive him with an injury settlement last year.
Campbell signed on with the Texans towards the end of last season but was among their final roster cuts a few months ago.ย He has had brief stints with the Cowboys and Jets this season.
In 2017, Campbell appeared in nine games and recorded 18 tackles, one fumble recovery and a pass defense. He has played in four games this year but has not recorded any statistics.
