Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that Packers G Lane Taylor suffered a season-ending knee injury that will surgery.
You can expect the Packers to place Taylor on injured reserve in the coming days and add someone to their roster.
It was clear that this was a serious injury for Taylor, who was later carted to the locker room during Sunday’s win over the Vikings.
Taylor had worked his way back from a torn biceps injury that cost him most of the 2019 season.
The Packers could turn to rookie Jon Runyan Jr until Billy Turner is ready to return to the lineup.
Taylor, 30, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in 2013. He was in line to be a restricted free agent when the Packers signed him to a two-year, $4.15 million contract in 2017.
Taylor was set to make a base salary of $3.8 million for the 2020 season when he agreed to a pay cut back in back in May.
