The Green Bay Packers announced Saturday that they’ve promoted OL Adam Pankey to their active roster and placed S Raven Greene on injured reserve.
Greene, 23, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of James Madison back in May. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.
In 2018, Greene appeared in eight games for the Packers and recorded five tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and a pass defense.
Pankey, 24, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of West Virginia in 2017. He agreed to a three-year, $1.66 million contract but was cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to the Packers’ practice squad.
Green Bay promoted Pankey a few weeks later and he finished out the year on their active roster. The Packers once again waived him coming out of the preseason this September and re-signed him to their practice squad after clearing waivers.
In 2017, Pankey was active for one game.
