Packers Release LS Brett Goode From IR With Settlement

The Green Bay Packers officially released LS Brett Goode from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Tuesday.

This move will allow the Packers to bring Goode back later on in the season once he’s healthy.

On Monday, the Packers placed Goode on injured reserve and signed LS Taybor Pepper.

Goode, 31, originally signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2007. He later caught on with the Jaguars before eventually signing with the Packers at the start of the 2008 season.

Good returned to the Packers at the start of the regular season. He has spent the past nine years in Green Bay.

In 2017, Goode appeared in all three games for the Packers.
