The Green Bay Packers brought six free agents for tryouts on Sunday, per Albert Breer.
The full list of workouts for the Packers includes:
- WR Chris Blair
- WR Derrion Grim
- WR Marcus Simms
- QB Jalen Morton
- G Daishawn Dixon
- T Hunter Atkinson
Simms, 22, played three seasons at West Virginia before entering the 2019 Supplemental Draft. Unfortunately, he went undrafted before signing on with the Jaguars.
Jacksonville placed Simms on injured reserve during the preseason with a concussion and he was later waived with towards the end of the season.
During his college career at West Virginia, Simms totaled 87 receptions for 1,457 yards receiving and eight touchdowns to go along with four rushing yards on two carries over the course of 26 games.
As a returner, Simms has totaled 992 kick return yards and 157 punt return yards and no touchdowns.
Dixon, 22, wound up going undrafted out of San Diego State back in April. He later signed a three-year, $2.28 million contract with the Ravens.
However, Baltimore waived Dixon a few months later.
During his college career at San Diego State, Dixon was a three-year starter and earned second-team All-Mountain West honors last season. He appeared in 52 games and started 37.
