Packers Waive TE Justin Perillo, Promote LB Carl Bradford

The Green Bay Packers officially waived TE Justin Perillo and promoted LB Carl Bradford to their active roster on Saturday.

Perillo, 25, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Maine back in 2014. He was on and off of the team’s practice squad during his first two years with the Packers but managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason this year.

In 2016, Perillo has appeared in eight games for the Packers and caught four passes for 35 yards receiving and no touchdowns.

Bradford, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Packers back in 2014. He managed to make the 53-man roster during his first year in the NFL before being converted to inside linebacker this last year.

Bradford spent the 2015 season on the Packers their practice squad and was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason again this year.

Bradford has yet to appear in an NFL game.
