Packers Worked Out 6 Players Including WR B.J. Daniels

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that Packers brought in six players for workouts on Tuesday including WR B.J. Daniels, CB Darryl Morris, LB Derrick Mathews, LB Beniquez Brown, LB Dwayne Norman and LB Darnell Sankey.

Daniels, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the 49ers back in 2013. He lasted less than a year in San Francisco before he was waived and later claimed by the Seahawks.

Daniels was off of the Seahawks’ practice squad for over two years before the Texans signed him to their active roster in December of last year. Unfortunately,ย Daniels’ stay in Houston lasted just a few months, as he was waivedย in the weeks leading up to this year’s draft.

The Giants elected to signed Daniels to a contract in May, butย was cut loose just a month later.ย The Bears signed Daniels to a contract in July but he was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

In 2015, Daniels appeared in eight games and record one catch for 12 yards receiving to go along with six rushes for for six yards and no touchdowns. He also completed one of two passes for seven yards.
