The Carolina Panthers announced that they’ve waived five players including WR Damion Jeanpiere, G Tyler Marz, C Frederick Mauigoa, RB Rodney Smith, and LB Jason Ferris (injury).
The Panthers also activated OL Greg Little and Branden Bowen from their physically unable to perform list and non-football injury lists.
With these moves, Carolina has officially reduced its roster to 80 players and do not have to use a split-squad procedure this offseason.
Little, 23, is a former second-round pick by the Panthers in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Mississippi. He received a four-year, $7,638,928 rookie contract, including a $3,618,076 signing bonus.
He was placed on injured reserve back in December.
In 2019, Little appeared in four games and started three for the Panthers.
