Field Yates reports that the Patriots are placing starting LT Isaiah Wynn on injured reserve on Tuesday. The expectation is that Wynn will miss at least eight weeks of the season with a foot injury.

Wynn, 23, is a former first-round pick of the Patriots back in 2018. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $11,577,192 contract that included a $6,499,776 signing bonus.
The Patriots have a fifth-year option to pick up on Wynn in 2021.
In 2019, Wynn has appeared in two games for the Patriots, starting both at left tackle.
