According to Doug Kyed of NESN, the Patriots are signing LB Cassh Maluia to their practice squad. The team released QB Jake Dolegala to make room.

- LB Cassh Maluia
Maluia, 22, is a sixth-round pick by the Patriots in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Wyoming. He signed a four-year, $3.45 million rookie contract but was among New England’s final roster cuts coming out of training camp.
He re-signed with the Patriots practice squad and was quickly promoted to the active roster. New England elected to waive him earlier this week.
During his college career, Maluia recorded 197 total tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, four interceptions, seven pass defenses, three fumble recoveries, and two forced fumbles.
