Field Yates reports that the Patriots have signed former Dolphins WR Brandon Gibson to a one-year deal worth $825,000.
Gibson, 27, was released by the Dolphins in a move that freed up $3,260,000 in available cap space while creating $1 million in dead money.
In 2014, Gibson caught 29 passes for 295 yards receiving and a touchdown over the course of 19 games. Pro Football Focus has Gibson rated as the No. 100 receiver out of 110 qualifying players.
