Patriots Waive Veteran DE Cassius Marsh, Sign DE Eric Lee Off Bills’ PS

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Patriots have placed veteran DE Cassius Marsh on waivers Tuesday.

• Yates adds that the Patriots have also signed DE Eric Lee off of the Bills’ practice squad.

Marsh, 25, is a former fourth-round pick by the Seahawks in the 2014 NFL Draft. He is entering the final year of a four-year, $2,690,252 rookie contract and is set to make a base salary of $690,000 this year.

The Seahawks traded Marsh to the Patriots for 2018 fifth- and seventh-round picks.

In 2017, Marsh has appeared in nine games for the Patriots and recorded 19 tackles, one sack and a forced fumble.
