The Raiders have designated LB Marquel Lee to return from injured reserve, per Scott Bair.
This officially opens a three-week window of time for Lee to practice with the team before Oakland will need to add him to the active roster.
Lee is the second player designated to return from injured reserve by the Raiders. Each team is allowed two players.
Lee, 24, was a fifth-round pick by the Raiders in 2017 out of Wake Forest. He’s in the third year of a four-year, $2.65 million rookie contract and is set to make base salaries of $645,000 and $735,000 the next two seasons.
In 2019, Lee has appeared in three games for the Raiders and recorded seven tackles.
