- Rapoport doesn’t say whether or notย Grantham has agreed to take the position.
This fits with a previous report fromย Dianna Marie Russini,ย who mentioned thatย that the Raiders wereย interested inย Grantham for their defensive coordinator vacancy.
Russini added thatย Grantham wasย considered to be the “favorite” for the Raiders’ job, and the two parties were set to meet at some point in the near future.
There had been reports that Oakland was looking to the college ranks for their next coordinator, even though NFL coaches like Mike Smith and Mel Tucker were initially mentioned as potential options for the Raiders.
