Steve Corkran agrees that Raiders fourth-round pick Tyler Wilson has been more impressive than Matt Flynn so far.
Wilson has been very impressive since rookie camp opened a few weeks ago. It’s great that the rookie has gotten off to a great start, but it’s still very earlier in offseason workouts, so Flynn will have plenty of time to prove his worth.
Oakland parted with a 2014 fifth-round draft pick in 2014 and a conditional late-round pick in 2015 for Flynn. They also reworked his contract after trading for him, which includes a 2013 base salary of $6.5 million.
