According to Michael Gehlken, the Raiders likely aren’t done making trades before the upcoming deadline. Gehlken says that former first-round Sย Karl Joseph is a “strong candidate” to be traded in the next week.
Joseph has been a popular name mentioned in trade rumors over the past week, so this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
It will be interesting to see what the Raiders will be able to get for Joseph in the event that they find a trade partner for the young safety.
Joseph, 25, is a former first-round pick of the Raiders back in 2016. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $11.88 million contract and set to make base salaries of $1.53 million and $2.07 million over the next two years of the agreement.
The Raiders have a fifth-year to pick up on Joseph in 2019.
In 2018, Joseph has appeared in three games for the Raiders, but has yet to record a statistic.
