Raiders Sign 10 Players To Futures Deals Including QB Nathan Peterman

The Oakland Raiders announced Tuesday that they’ve signed QB Nathan Peterman to a futures contract for the 2019 season.

The full list of futures signings includes:

  1. FB Ryan Yurachek
  2. RB James Butler
  3. OT Jamar McGloster
  4. WR Saeed Blacknall
  5. LB James Cowser
  6. QB Nathan Peterman
  7. LB Cayson Collins
  8. CB Makinton Dorleant
  9. WR Rashard Davis
  10. P Drew Kaser

Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.

Peterman, 24, was taken in the fifth-round of last year’s draft by the Bills. He signed a four-year, $2.63 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $555,000 for the 2018 season.

The Bills made the decision to finally move on from Peterman in November and he eventually signed on to the Raiders’ practice squad.

In 2018, Peterman appeared in four games for the Bills and completed 54.3 percent of his passes for 296 yards, one touchdown and seven interceptions. He also rushed for 50 yards and touchdown.
