Raiders Worked Out Five Including WR Jaelen Strong

The Oakland Raiders brought in five players for tryouts on Thursday, according to Howard Balzer, including:

1. WR Rashard Davis
2. WR Jaelen Strong
3. WR Derel Walker
4. P Drew Kaser
5. LS Drew Scott

Of this group, the Raiders elected to sign Davis to their practice squad.

Strong, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Texans back in 2015. He spent over two years in Houston before he was waived during the 2017 and later claimed off of waivers by the Jaguars.

Strong was on and off of the team’s roster before suffering a torn ACL towards the end of last season. Jacksonville later waived him this past April.

In 2017, Strong appeared in two games for the Jaguars and caught three passes for 38 yards receiving and one touchdown.
