Field Yates reports that the Raiders worked out DB Will Blackmon on Friday while the team was in London.
Blackmon currently covers the NFL for a few media outlets, but Yates notes that he was at the right place at the right team for the team to take a look at him.
Blackmon is reportedly still in shape, despite not appear in an NFL game since 2016.
Blackmon, 34, is a former fourth-round pick of the Packers back in 2006. He spent four years in Green Bay before playing for the Giants, Jaguars and more recently for the Redskins.
Blackmon was in the final year of his two-year contract when the Redskins elected to release him coming out of the preseason in 2017.
In 2016, Blackmon appeared in 15 games for the Redskins and recorded 41 tackles, a half sack, an interception, a forced fumble, and three pass defenses. He also contributed 109 kick return yards and 16 punt return yards for Washington.
