Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Raiders brought in seven players for workouts on Monday including RB LaMichael James.
The Raiders also worked out:
- DE Alex Bazzie
- LB Andy Mulumba (signed)
- LB Dwayne Norman (signed)
- LB Brandon Hepburn
- S Dion Bailey
- CB Greg Ducre
However, Caplan says that the Raiders did not work out a quarterback, despite the recent injury to Matt McGloin.
Interesting appears to be picking up in James as this is his second workout in as many weeks after he previously met with the Seahawks.
James, 24, is a former second-round pick of the 49ers back in 2012. He spent just over two years in San Francisco before he was waived and later signed to the Dolphins’ practice squad at the start of the 2014 season.
James returned to the Dolphins on a one-year contract the following year but was waived a few weeks into the regular season.
In 2015, James appeared in one game for the Dolphins and totaled 54 kick return yards.
