Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the Rams expected to re-sign veteran LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar to fill roster spot of injured LB Alec Ogletree.

Fisher told reporters Monday that he expects Akeem Ayers to fill in to be Ogletree’s replacement while he’s out with an ankle injury. However, it can’t hurt to add some more depth and bring in a guy who’s already familiar with the team’s defensive scheme.

Dunbar, 30, was released by the Rams a month ago, as St. Louis trimmed their roster down to 53 players. He hasn’t found any reported interest since he became available.

In 2014, Dunbar appeared in 15 games for the Rams and recorded 36 tackles.

We’ll have more regarding Dunbar possibly returning to the Rams as the news is available.
