Rams Place Three Players On COVID-19 List

The Los Angeles Rams announced Wednesday that they’ve placed TE Kendall Blanton, DB Jake Gervase and WR J.J. Koski on the COVID-19 list.

All three of these players are on the Rams’ practice squad.

The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.

Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.

Blanton, 25, wound up going undrafted out of Missouri back in 2019. He later signed a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Rams, but was waived at the start of the season.

Blanton was later added to the Rams’ practice squad and has been on and off of the unit ever since.

In 2019, Blanton was active for one game, but did not record a statistic.
