Rams Sign K Austin MacGinnis To Practice Squad

The Los Angeles Rams are signing K Austin MacGinnis to their practice squad on Tuesday. 

The Rams will need to make a corresponding roster move, as they’re currently over the practice squad limit:

7. DT Michael Hoecht

12. LB Christian Rozeboom
13. DE Jonah Williams
14. DB J.R. Reed
15. G Jeremiah Kolone
16. DT Eric Banks
17. K Austin MacGinnis

This comes after the news that the Rams have waived K Samuel Solman and plan to move forward with Kai Forbath as their kicker. 

MacGinnis, 25, wound up going undrafted out of Kentucky back in April. He later signed a three-year, $2.28 million contract with the Rams.

However, Los Angeles cut MacGinnis loose coming out of the preseason.
