Ravens Cutting Veteran KR Devin Hester

The Baltimore Ravens announced that they’ve placed veteran WR/KR Devin Hester on waivers Tuesday.

Hester clearly didn’t produce at the level the team was hoping and there are now questions as to whether he’s still the same level of kick return he was once.

Hester, 34, is a former second-round pick of the Bears back in 2006. After eight years with the Bears, Hester signed a three-year, $9 million contract with Atlanta and was set to make a base salary of $3.5 million for the 2016 season when the Falcons released him during the offseason.

The Ravens later signed him to a one-year contract at the start of the regular season.

In 2016, Hester has appeared in 12 games for the Ravens and totaled 466 kick return yards and 180 punt return yards.
