Ravens Place Rookie WR Darren Waller On I.R. & Promote OT De’Ondre Wesley

The Baltimore Ravens announced a series of roster moves on Wednesday including the decision to place rookie WR Darren Waller on season-ending injured reserve with a hamstring injury.

  • The Ravens signed RB Terrence Magee and OT Marcel Jones to their practice squad and promoted OT De’Ondre Wesley to their active roster.

The decision to promote Wesley is due to Eugene Monroe sustained a shoulder injury during Monday’s game.

Waller, 23, was taken in the sixth-round of this year’s NFL draft. He’s in the first year of his four-year, $2.39 million rookie contract and stands to make base salaries of $435,000 (2015), $525,000 (2016), $615,000 (2017) and $705,000 (2018) over the remainder of the contract.

His rookie season comes to an end with him appearing in six games and catching two passes for 18 yards receiving and no touchdowns for the Ravens.
