Ravens Could Target A RB In Later Rounds Of The Draft

CSN Baltimore’s Clifton Brownย believes the Ravens could target a running back during the later rounds of this year’s NFL Draft.

According to Brown, theย Ravens have been planning to improve their running back depth behindย Ray Riceย and Bernard Pierceย since the season concluded.

Brown adds thatย Rice’s recent arrest and Pierce’sย rotator cuffย surgeryย last month could both factor into their decision as well.

It’s unlikely that the Ravens will consider the position at all in theย first or second round, butย Brown expects them to take a look at some guysย later in the draft.

As for potential targets, Brown lists:ย Kapri Bibbsย (Colorado State), Isaiah Crowellย (Alabama State), Marion Griceย (Arizona State),ย Bishop Sankey (Washington) andย Terrance West (Towson) as players to watch.

Mike Mayockย spoke very highly ofย Sankey during Tuesday’s conference call, so there is a chance he could be out of reach for the Ravens in the mid-to-late rounds of the draft.
