Ravens Promote WR Michael Campanaro To Active Roster

The Baltimore Ravens have promoted WR Michael Campanaro to their active roster on Wednesday, according to Jeff Zrebiec.

Campanaro, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Ravens back in 2014. He was in the third year of his four-year, $2.287 million rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $600,000 for the 2016 season when the Ravens waived him with an injury designation.

Campanaro later reverted to the Ravens’ injured reserve list after clearing waivers before he was cut loose a few weeks into the regular season. The Ravens later signed him to their practice squad.

In 2015, Campanaro appeared in four games and recorded five receptions for 35 yards receiving to go along with two carries for 17 yards rushing and a touchdown.
