Ravens Re-Sign ILB Albert McClellan, Place CB Maurice Canady On IR

The Baltimore Ravens announced Monday that they’ve re-signed ILB Albert McClellan and placed CB Maurice Canady (thigh) on injured reserve.

The Ravens needed to bolster their depth at linebakcer after C.J. Mosley suffered a knee injury last Thursday.

McClellan, 32, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Marshall back in 2010. He finished out his two-year contract with the team before signing a new three-year, $3.75 million contract in 2016.

McClellan was set to make a base salary of $1.25 million for the 2018 season when the Ravens released him coming out of the preseason.

In 2016, McClellan appeared in all 16 games for the Ravens and recorded 55 tackles and a sack.
