The Baltimore Ravens announced Tuesday that they’ve signed CFL DB Otha Foster to a future/reserve contract.

The Ravens have now signed 9 players to futures deals since their season ended. The full list includes:

  1. QB Dustin Vaughan (NFLTR)
  2. RB Stephen Houston
  3. WR Kenny Bell
  4. OL Jarell Broxton
  5. OL Jarrod Pughsley
  6. OL Matt Skura
  7. CB Robertson Daniel
  8. LB Bo Lokombo
  9. DB Otha Foster

Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.

Foster, 28, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of West Alabama back in 2013. Unfortunately, he lasted just a few months in Kansas City before he was waived during the preseason.

Foster later signed on with the Toronto Argonauts and has played for a few CFL teams including the Edmonton Eskimos and Saskatchewan Roughriders.

For his career, Foster has recorded 173 tackles, six sacks, three interceptions, two defensive touchdowns and three forced fumbles over the course of 51 games.
