Ravens Officially Sign G D.J. Fluker

Update:

The Baltimore Ravens announced Monday that they’ve officially signed veteran G D.J. Fluker to a contract.

According to Ian Rapoport, the Ravens are signing former Seahawks G D.J. Fluker to a contract.

After being released by Seattle after the draft, Fluker ended up not having to wait long for a new home.

He’ll step in immediately as a veteran option for the Ravens on the interior of their offensive line as they look to replace the elite production of retired G Marshal Yanda

It’s also worth mentioning Fluker won’t affect Baltimore’s standing in the compensatory pick formula for 2021.

Fluker, 29, is a former first-round pick of the Chargers back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $11,402,498 contract before the Chargers elected to pick up his fifth-year option worth $8.821 million for the 2017 season.

The Chargers released him and he later caught on with the Giants for the 2017 season. From there, he signed a one-year contract with the Seahawks in 2018 and returned to Seattle on a two-year deal last year before being released after 2019.

In 2019, Fluker appeared in 14 games for the Seahawks, making 14 starts for them at guard. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 48 guard out of 81 qualifying players.

We had him included in our Top 100 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
