Ravens Waive RB Stephen Houston From Practice Squad

The Baltimore Ravens announced that they’ve waived RB Stephen Houston from their practice squad on Tuesday.

The Ravens’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. OT Blaine Clausell
  2. DE Kapron Lewis-Moore
  3. C Matt Skura
  4. WR/KR Keenan Reynolds
  5. OLB Brennen Beyer
  6. QB David Fales
  7. WR Kenny Bell
  8. DB Asa Jackson
  9. WR Dobson Collins

Houston, 24, originally signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Indiana back in May of 2014. Houston was, unfortunately, waived during the preseason before later signing on with the Steelers.

Houston’s time in Pittsburgh was also short-lived, as he was once again placed on waivers after a few weeks with the Steelers. The Ravens signed him to a contract at the start of the preseason but he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts.

Baltimore later signed him to their practice squad.

During his college career at Indiana, Houston ran for 2,304 yards on 424 carries (5.4 YPC) and scored 29 total touchdowns.
