The Washington Redskins announced Tuesday that they’ve placed RB Chris Thompson, WR Terrelle Pryor, G Shawn Lauvao and OL Spencer Long on injured reserve.
Other roster moves from the Redskins include:
- Redskins promoted RB LeShun Daniels and LB Pete Robertson to their active roster.
- Redskins signed DT A.J. Francis and C Demetrius Rhaney. (NFLTR)
- Redskins signed OL John Kling to their practice squad.
Thompson, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Redskins back in 2013. He was unfortunately waived at the start of the 2014 season, but re-signed to their practice squad soon after.
The Redskins tendered Thompson a one-year exclusive rights contract last year and brought him back on a second-round restricted tender for the 2017 season.
Washington signed him to a two-year extension at the start of the regular season.
In 2017, Thompson appeared in 10 games for the Redskins and rushed for 294 yards on 64 carries (4.6 YPC) to go along with 39 receptions for 510 yards receiving and six total touchdowns.
