The Washington Redskins announced Thursday that they have signed free agent LB Jared Norris to a contract for the 2020 season.
Norris, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Utah back in 2016. He later signed on with the Panthers and managed to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season.
However, Norris was placed injured reserve the next two years. The Panthers later signed him to a two-year, $1.7 million extension last March, but he was waived coming out of the preseason.
In 2018, Norris appeared in three games for the Panthers and recorded one tackle before he was placed on injured reserve with a toe injury.
