The Washington Redskins officially signed RB Kapri Bibbs to their practice squad on Friday.
The Redskins’ practice squad now consists of:
- WR Robert Davis
- TE Manasseh Garner
- S Fish Smithson
- OL Anthony Fabiano
- NT Ondre Pipkins
- WR Keenan Reynolds
- LB Otha Peters
- DB Orion Stewart
- OT John Kling
- RBÂ Kapri Bibbs
Bibbs, 24, signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado State back in 2014. Bibbs was been on and off of the Broncos’ practice squad before returning to Denver on a one-year, exclusive rights deal last year.
The 49ers traded Bibbs and a 2017 fifth-round pick to the Broncos in return for a 2018 fourth-round selection before this year’s draft. The 49ers elected to cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
In 2016, Bibbs appeared 12 games and ran for 129 yards on 29 carries (4.4 YPC) to go along with two receptions for 75 yards receiving and one touchdown.
