The Washington Redskins officially signed C Austin Reiter to their practice squad on Thursday.
The Redskins’ practice squad now consists of:
- OT Isaiah Williams
- WR Maurice Harris
- LB Lynden Trail
- WR Kendal Thompson
- TE Wes Saxton
- OL Vinston Painter
- RB Mack Brown
- DE Matt Ioannidis
- DT Louis Nix
- C Austin Reiter
Reiter, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Redskins back in May of last year. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason last year but was later signed to the team’s practice squad.
Washington elected to bring Reiter back on a future/reserve contract this past January and he was able to crack the 53-man roster this year. However, the Redskins waived him on Tuesday.
Reiter has yet to appear in an NFL game.
