Redskins WR Emanuel Hall announced via his Instagram account that he suffered a torn Achilles last month while training.
This injury will likely cost Hall the entire 2020 season and lead to him being placed on injured reserve in the coming months.
Hall, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Missouri back in 2019. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Bears as a priority undrafted free agent.
Unfortunately, the Bears cut him loose during the preseason and he was later claimed off waivers by the Buccaneers. From there, he was on and off of the Bucs’ practice squad before the Redskins signed him to their taxi squad in December.
Hall returned to Washington on a futures contract.
During his college career at Missouri, Hall caught 97 passes for 2,016 yards receiving and 16 touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 32 games.
