Mike Jurecki is hearing that the 49ers have reached an agreement with veteran G Erik Pears on a two-year deal.
Pears reportedly drew interest from the Jets and Broncos after he visited with the 49ers earlier in the week.
Pears, 32, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado State back in 2005. He has since played for the Raiders, Jaguars and Bills.
In 2014, Pears appeared in all 16 games for the Bills and played a total of 1086 snaps. However, Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 76 guard out of 78 qualifying players.
