- Aaron Wilson first reported that theย Chicago Bears have reached a one-year deal with former Packers safety M.D. Jennings.
Jennings, 25, was a restricted free agent, but the Packers elected to not use a tender on him given that he had struggled a lot in recent years. Last year, he totaledย 74 tackles, a sack and a fumble returned for a touchdown.
Pro Football Focusย had Jennings rated as the No. 67 safety in league last year and below-average in coverage.
