Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald reports that the Patriots are re-signing WR Derrick Johnson now that his knee injury has healed.
The Patriots waived Johnson back in June to make room for TE Kyle Auffray.
Johnson, 22, signed with the Patriots as a rookie agent out of Maine following this year’s NFL draft. He finished his college career with 116 receptions for 1,165 yards and four touchdowns.
