Ian Rapoportย of the NFL Network reports that the Tennessee Titans have QB Jay Cutler on their radar for the offseason.
Rapoport adds that Cutler is believed to have interest in returning to Nashville where he played at the University of Vanderbilt.
The Titans are not expected to pick up QB Jake Locker‘s $13 million club option for the 2015 season, which means he is likely entering the final year his rookie contract. Tennessee apparently is not convinced that Locker will take the next step in his development, hence the reported interest in Cutler.
Cutler, 30, still has a chance to Chicago next season, although GM Phil Emery recently mentioned that he would not want to use their franchise tag on Cutler give that it would most likely cost them in excess of $16 million.
