Tom Pelisseroย reports that Vikings Sย Harrison Smithย may need to undergo season-ending surgery on his turf toe injury.

  • Pelisseroย adds that the plan for now is to allow Smith some timeย to allow the injury heal.
  • According toย Pelissero’s source, two doctors have already recommended surgery.
  • Smith will not play in Monday night’s game against the Giants.

This of course would be a huge blow to an already limited secondary.ย Andrew Sendejo replaced Smith on Sunday and figures to be the Vikings starter against the Giants, butย Mistral Raymond and Robert Blanton could also get some snaps as well.

We’ll have more regarding Smith’s injury in the coming days.
