Report: Vikings Sign DT Tom Johnson

According to Tom Pelissero, the Minnesota Vikings have signed former Saints DT Tom Johnson to a one-year contract.

• Pelissero adds that Johnson will receive a one-year contract worth $845,000.

This move comes a day after the Vikings lost out on DT Henry Melton who wound up signing with the Cowboys.

Johnson, 29, signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Mississippi back in 2006.

Last year, he appeared in 12 games for the Saints and totaled 12 tackles and two sacks.
