The New Orleans Saints officially activated LB Chase Hansen from injured reserve on Friday.
Hansen, 27, signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Utah back in 2019. He agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract but was placed on the non-football injury in June with a back injury.
Hansen missed the entire 2019 season and was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury last month.
During his four-year college career, Hansen recorded 270 total tackles, 32.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, four forced fumbles and five recoveries with one touchdown return, six interceptions, including two returned for touchdowns, and 16 pass defenses in 37 games.
