The New Orleans Saints have activated RB Alvin Kamara from the COVID-19 list on Saturday and WR Michael Thomas, WR Deonte Harris and CB Patrick Robinson from injured reserve ahead of their game against the Bears, according to Nick Underhill.
Other roster moves include:
- Saints placed OL Nick Easton on injured reserve.
- Saints waived WR Jake Kuermow.
- Saints promoted LB Chase Hansen and WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey to their active roster.
Kamara, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Saints back in 2017. Kamara was in the final year of his four-year, $3.85 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $977,500 for the 2020 season.
Kamara was in line to be an unrestricted free agent in 2021 when he agreed to a five-year extension worth $77.133 million this past September.
In 2020, Kamara has appeared in 15 games for the Saints and rushed for 932 yards on 187 carries (5 YPC) to go along with 83 receptions for 756 yards receiving and 21 total touchdowns.
Thomas, 27, was drafted by the Saints in the second round out of Ohio State in 2016. He was entering the final year of a four-year, $5.118 million rookie contract when he agreed to a five-year, $100 million extension last July.
In 2020, Thomas has appeared in seven games for the Saints and caught 40 passes for 438 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
