Mike Triplett of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reported yesterday that RB Mark Ingram was held out of practice because of a heel injury that he suffered during last weeks blowout win against the Indianapolis Colts.
Triplett seems to think that the Saints will keep Ingram out of Sunday’s game as a precautionary measure which could open the door for Chris Ivory. Then again the Saints could elect to go with just Pierre Thomas and Darren Sproles against the struggling St Louis Rams.
