Nick Underhill reports that the Saints have officially signed veteran LB Nigel Bradham to a contract on Friday.
A deal between the Saints and Bradham was first reported last week, but it took until now for the agreement to be finalized.
Bradham, 30, is a former fourth-round pick of the Bills back in 2012. He played out his four-year, $2.564 million rookie contract before signing a two-year, $7 million contract that included $4.5 million guaranteed with the Eagles.
Bradham made a base salary of $3.5 million for the 2017 season before signing a new five-year, $40 million contract with the Eagles in 2018. He was set to make a base salary of $8 million each of the next two seasons when the Eagles released him this offseason.
In 2019, Bradham appeared in 12 games for the Eagles, recording 61 total tackle, no sacks, one interception, one fumble recovery returned for a touchdown and five pass defenses. He was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 31 linebacker out of 89 qualifying players.
We had him included in our Top 100 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
