Saints Place DT Jay Bromley On Injured Reserve

The New Orleans Saints officially placed DT Jay Bromley on injured reserve Tuesday.

According to Nick Underhill, Bromley tore his biceps during Sunday’s game.

Bromley, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Giants back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $3,003,876 rookie contract and was not testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his NFL career before agreeing to a contract with the Saints back in May.

The Saints elected to release Bromley coming out of the preseason as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players. He’s been on and off of their roster ever since.

In 2018, Bromley has appeared in one game for the Saints and recorded four tackles and no sacks.
