Aaron Wilson reports that the Saints have promoted TE Rashaun Allen to their active roster. In addition, Wilson confirmed through LB Jeff Luc‘s agent that his client will join the team’s practice squad.
Allen, 25, was signed to the Seahawks back in 2014 as an undrafted free agent. Unfortunately, Seattle decided to release him during their final wave of roster cuts this last preseason.
In 2014, Allen managed to have one game appearance, but did not record any statistics.
Luc, 23, is an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati. Luc has had previous tryouts with the Chargers, Giants and Dolphins, while this will be his first contract in his NFL career.
