Saints Promoting WR Keith Kirkwood From Practice Squad

Josh Katzenstein reports that the Saints are promoting WR Keith Kirkwood from their practice squad to the active roster in time for Week 10.

Kirkwood, 24, originally signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Temple back in May but was released after a few days and was added by the Saints.

He was among New Orleans’ final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and signed to their practice squad after passing through waivers unclaimed.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game.

During his five-year college career, Kirkwood recorded 103 receptions for 1,638 yards receiving (15.9 YPC) and 16 touchdowns.
